Recently, I photographed 49 North Street in Fowey, a beautifully presented three-bedroom terraced property set over three floors and positioned just a short walk from the town centre and waterfront. Located only metres from the River Fowey, the property benefits from one of the most desirable aspects of living in the town, with stunning water views available just moments from the front door.
The house has remained within the same family for many years and, whilst there had been discussions about potentially renting it out via Airbnb, it continues to be enjoyed regularly by the family themselves.
Spacious Open-Plan Living
One of the standout features of the property is the open-plan ground floor living space. The lounge, dining area, kitchen and utility spaces all flow naturally together, creating a bright and sociable environment that works particularly well for both everyday living and holiday-style accommodation.
French doors at the rear lead directly out into a small enclosed courtyard garden, helping bring additional light into the downstairs living areas whilst also creating a private outdoor space to relax in during warmer months.
