A Brilliant Wedding Day in Launceston
Andy and Debbie’s wedding was a perfect example of how a day can feel meaningful without being complicated. Set in the heart of Cornwall, their celebration was relaxed, personal, and built around the places that matter most to them.
A relaxed ceremony at Launceston Town Hall
Their day began at Launceston Town Hall, a venue that suits couples looking for a straightforward and intimate ceremony. Right in the centre of town, it offers character without feeling formal or overwhelming.
Andy and Debbie kept things simple, focusing on what really mattered. Being surrounded by close family and friends, sharing the moment, and starting their next chapter together. The ceremony was warm and genuine, with plenty of smiles and a few emotional moments that didn’t need any staging.
For couples planning a Launceston Town Hall wedding, it’s a great option if you want something central, easy to access, and full of local charm.
Wedding photos at Launceston Castle
After the ceremony, we made our way to Launceston Castle for photographs. It’s one of the best locations in the area for wedding portraits, and it’s only a short walk from the town centre.
The castle grounds offer a mix of historic stonework, open green space, and views across Launceston. It gives plenty of variety without needing to travel far, which helps keep the day flowing naturally.
Andy and Debbie approached their photos in a relaxed way. No pressure, no over-posing. Just time together, a bit of laughter, and the chance to take it all in. That’s often when the best photographs happen.
Celebrating at The Archer’s Arms
From there, we headed to The Archer’s Arms in Lewannick for the rest of the celebrations. This wasn’t just a reception venue, it’s Andy’s local pub, which made it a meaningful choice to end the day.
The atmosphere here was exactly what you’d hope for. Relaxed, welcoming, and full of life. Guests settled in quickly, enjoying good food, drinks, and each other’s company.
This part of the day is where things naturally loosen up. The structure fades away and people just enjoy being together. It’s also where a lot of the real, candid moments happen. Conversations, laughter, and those small interactions that often become the most treasured memories.
A simple, meaningful Cornwall wedding
Andy and Debbie’s wedding didn’t follow trends or try to be anything it wasn’t. It stayed true to them. From a ceremony at Launceston Town Hall, to portraits at Launceston Castle, and finishing at a pub that already meant something to them.
