Launcells Barton & St Swithuns Church for the win
Kim and Barry’s wedding at Launcells Barton was one of those days that had everything. A beautiful setting, a full guest list, and a relaxed flow from start to finish.
From the moment the day began, everything centred around Launcells Barton, making it easy, enjoyable, and completely focused on the experience.
Bridal preparations at Launcells Barton
The day started with Kim getting ready at Launcells Barton, where she and her bridesmaids had stayed the night before. It’s always a great way to begin a wedding, no travel, no stress, just a calm build-up to the day.
Blush Bude were there handling makeup, adding to the atmosphere as everything came together.
There was a real sense of anticipation. Laughter, final touches, and those quieter moments before everything begins.
A short walk to St Swithin’s Church
When it was time, we made the short walk down to St Swithin’s Church, just on the edge of Launcells Barton’s grounds.
It’s a brilliant setup. No need for cars or logistics, just a simple walk that keeps the day flowing naturally.
The ceremony itself was warm and full of energy, with plenty of family and friends there to witness it. A great atmosphere from start to finish.
Confetti, drinks and live music back at Launcells Barton
After the ceremony, everyone made their way back up the path to Launcells Barton, where the confetti throw took place. It’s a great spot for it, natural, relaxed, and full of movement.
It was at this point where I stole Kim & Barry away from their guests so that I could capture some stunning solo shots of Kim, plus some couple and family portraits.
Back at the venue, guests were welcomed with canapés and drinks while a live singer performed. This part of the day always works well, people relax, conversations start flowing, and the energy builds.
The barn reception at Launcells Barton
Guests were then invited into the barn for the wedding breakfast. Launcells Barton is known for this space, and it delivers every time. Rustic, spacious, and full of character.
After the meal came the cake cutting, followed by the evening celebrations. The disco got going, and the singer returned, keeping the atmosphere lively and consistent.
With a large group of family and friends, the energy carried right through the evening.
Sunset photos and natural moments
As the day began to wind down, we took advantage of the evening light for sunset photographs. Launcells Barton is perfect for this, offering open space and a natural backdrop.
A Launcells Barton wedding that had it all
Kim and Barry’s wedding is a great example of how well Launcells Barton works as a complete venue. From getting ready, to ceremony just next door, to reception and evening celebrations, everything flowed without interruption.
Add in great music, a full guest list, and space for those quieter moments, and you’ve got a wedding that feels complete from start to finish.
